Quyon evens series with Valley As

The Quyon Flyers evened their best-of-three Greater Ottawa Fastball League playoff series with a 8-0 win over the Ottawa Valley As in Carp on Wednesday night.

Trevor Lahey had the shutout win for the Flyers. Adam Rueckwald took the loss and had relief from Ben Broek.

Lane McMurty had a big night for Quyon with a three run homer and two-RBI single.

The deciding game three of the series is scheduled for Thursday September 7 in Quyon at 7:30 pm.
