Hayley Bennett and Team Canada off to a hot start at the Maccabiah Games

Hayley Bennett of Kanata is representing Canada in softball at the Maccabiah Games in the Women’s Open division. Hayley is also a member of the Bytown Belles travel team and the local Ottawa ExPros OVFL league team.

Canada was off to a hot start having won their first three games – including the first ever win over the United States by a women’s Maccabiah Games team. The Americans came back to defeat Canada in the second game played between the two teams.  The men’s team has started the Open division tournament with a 4-0 record.

You can follow the men’s and women’s teams online here: https://maccabigames2017.wixsite.com/canadasoftball/latest-news-stories.
