Three games played on rainy Thursday UPDATED

Despite the rainy weather on Thursday night, the Greater Ottawa Fastball League managed to get three games in the books.

Micksburg Twins 1 West Carleton Electric 0

Following a bantam boys game as part of a doubleheader (Micksburg 15 West Carleton 4) the men's teams took to the field with the home team prevailing 1-0. Joran Graham got the shutout win, while Andy Barber took the loss. The game was scoreless through six, when the Twins scored a run on a bases loaded double play with none out. This game featured the debut of 14 year old Fitzroy Junior in his first GOFL game.

Quyon Flyers 6 Kars Aces 4

Tied going into the bottom of the seventh, this game saw Nick Armitage hit a two run walk off homer to lead the hometown Flyers to the victory. Trevor Lahey had the win on the slab while Cory Alkerton took the loss. Ian King had a homer for the Aces.

Ottawa Valley As 3 Stittsville 56ers 3

In Carp, the Ottawa Valley As and Stittsville 56ers battled to a 3-3 tie. Ben Broek chucked for the As while Luc D'Entremont had the ball for the 56ers.
