Micksburg wins game 4 over Barrhaven, advances to final weekend
The Micksburg Twins won game four of their GOFL playoff series 4-1 over Barrhaven in Manotick on Wednesday night to earn a berth in the league upcoming Final Weekend in Fitzroy Harbour.
Tied 1-1 after seven complete, the game went to extra innings. When the visitors scored three in the top of the 8th and Barrhaven was unable to respond the score was a final at 4-1.
Joran Graham threw a two-hitter to earn the win. Trevor Lahey started and was relieved by Jason Smith who took the loss.
Jordan Adams had a solo homer for the Barrhaven run. Chad Costello had a two run RRI single for Micksburg in the top of the eighth.
